The meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Iran’s Bank Tejarat Dr. Majid Reza Davari took place in Kazan on June 20. Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs – Aide to the President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov attended the meeting.
Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Dr. Davari for participation in the International Islamic Business and Finance Summit KAZANSUMMIT-2011. “I believe that our summit is a great opportunity for Islamic countries to establish contacts with Russian companies and for Russian companies to enter the markets of Islamic countries,” the Tatarstan President said.
