On June 15, hundreds of Muslims from all over the country met in the capital of Tatarstan. At that day delegates of the Second All-Russian Forum of Tatar Religious Figures “National identity and religion” registered for participation in the World Tatar Congress. Forum was implemented with the support of the World Tatar Congress and Tatarstan Presidential administration on cooperation with religious associations.
On June 16, the opening ceremony was held at the theatre named after G.Kamal. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed religious figures. Participants of the forum delivered their speeches after launch. The opening ceremony was finished by the concert.
Morning of June 17 was devoted to the section work. Development of Tatar Muslim infrastructure inRussia was discussed in the National Cultural Centre ‘Kazan’. Farit Urazaev and Albir hazrat Krganov were head speakers.
The issue named as “Mosque is a center of Tatar national education” was viewed at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan under the leadership of R.Mukhametshin, the Rector of Russian Islamic University. Religious figures, who met at the theatre named after G.Kamal, participated in the section called “Islam in modern information field”.
Having prayed Friday namaz in Qol-Sharif and Al-Mardzhani Mosques, participants of the forum visited Kyrlay village, located in Arskiy district. On June 18, they took part in “Izge Bolgar Zhyeny”.Morning of June 17 was devoted to the section work.
